Return Policy

Before opening your products, read the following instructions:
 

If your package has arrived damaged or tampered with, please contact UPS immediately at 800-742-5877 to file a damage claim. Please keep all packaging and merchandise exactly like you received them for UPS inspection. UPS will contact us once you file a claim and we will then ship you a replacement. A phone call to Pro Audio Video is unnecessary as this process will happen automatically.

Can I return my order or an item I purchased?


Most of our products are backed by our 15 Day Return Policy. These products may be returned at your expense within 15 days from the date of delivery. We do not accept ANY return after 15 days. The return shipping is your responsibility and all items are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Items must not have been worn, used or altered in any way. Refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only and do not include shipping and handling charges. Any return received with missing items or without original packaging will not be credited. We must be able to resell the item so you MUST return it the same way we shipped it to you. We do not accept any returns on Halloween merchandise after October 10th.

 

The following criteria must be met in order to be eligible for a refund:

  • You must call our customer support center at 330-436-3260 and obtain the RA #.
  • We will only issue the RA # within the 15 days of the original purchase date. Orders placed between October 10 and November 1 is not eligible for a refund.
  • Item must be returned in new, unused condition and in their original packaging with all accessories.
  • You are responsible for shipping the item back. We will not accept C.O.D.
  • Pack the item back into its original manufacturer’s box along with all parts, accessories, manuals, packaging, etc. If anything is missing, written on, taped, damaged, or defective, we will not be able to replace your item or offer a credit. The item has to be in perfect, just like you received it.
  • Once packaged back into the manufacturer’s box exactly like you received it, place the item in a corrugated shipping box and write your return authorization number on the outside of the shipping box, and address it to: Importers Direct LLC., Attn: RMA# ______ 1559 S Main St. NE, Akron, OH 44301.
  • It is your responsibility to insure the return package and obtain a tracking number for your safety.

Items will NOT be eligible for a refund if:

  • Item was refused upon delivery or UPS was unable to deliver the package to your address.
  • You provided an incorrect address upon ordering.
  • Items are not received on time because you chose the wrong shipping method upon ordering.

Exchanges: if you wish to make an exchange, place a new order for the product you want to purchase and we will offer you a refund once we receive your return based on our policy.

 

The following items are ONLY returnable if they are in their unopened, original packaging. Items must not have been worn, used or altered in any way:

  • Undergarments, socks and stockings, shoe covers, boot tops, slippers, eye lashes, wigs, beards, facial hair or any other artificial hair, cosmetics, teeth, prosthetic noses or chins, cigarette holders, items in factory sealed packages, CD's, DVD's or software, party supplies, costumes, decorations and lighting

If you need a different size costume, you must place a new order for the needed replacement item(s) and return your item(s) you have already received for a refund. Make sure and check the costume itself and not rely on the packaging label as the manufacturer can make labeling mistakes or use the same packaging for all sizes. We will waive the restocking fee only if we ship you the wrong size, not if you ordered the wrong size and it does not fit. Our return policy applies to exchanges.

 

Please note: Importers Direct LLC will not accept any returns on costumes or decorations after 10/23/09. Costume and decorations styles can change without notice due to a change in the manufacturer's production. These changes, no matter how slight, are beyond our control. We apologize for any inconvenience. The manufacturer may also alter the product and not notify us. We do our best to make changes to the website but we are NOT responsible for changes, product features, or photos that may be incorrect. Any items returned without a Return Authorization Number on the outside of the package or any item not shipped back in a corrugated shipping box will be refused and returned to you. Do not send back merchandise C.O.D. or freight collect. We can not accept such packages. For your own protection, insure all return packages. Importers Direct LLC is not responsible for returned shipments which are lost, pilfered, or damaged.
